In a twisted change of fate, our Phil and Ted stroller was returned to us yesterday.  Sort of.  Actually we just took it back- but whatever.  You can’t steal what’s rightfully yours.

Just as mysteriously as it disappeared, 24 hours after the incident, the stroller materialized in the front yard of a house across the street from my parents house.  It is an empty home that is for sale (the owner moved into a nursing home several months ago).  The stroller had a note taped to it with the message “For sale, $75, OBO” and then there was a phone number.  I guess whoever put the stroller out there expected people to call them about it.

Seriously?!?

Obviously, we didn’t waste any time making phone calls.  Instead, we swooped in and took the stroller back.  It is now safely locked in our basement.  I just don’t even know what to make of it all.  So incredibly weird.

All I care about is that we have our stroller back (THANK GOD).

I haven’t decided if we should call the phone number, give it to the police, or just drop it.  Any thoughts?

Holy weirdness…I’m so freaked out on your behalf. Give it to the police. I’m trying to figure out the chances of it being stolen from your house and then landing in front of your parents’ house. Sarah, I’m seriously freaked. I don’t know why, but I’ve been in paranoia mode lately and this is going to be the subject of more nightmares for me. Your house isn’t even that close to your parents’ house, right? So what are the chances of it having been a “random” act? Google the number first, then report the incident to the police.
