The Hair Salon

Remember Bryson’s first disappointing hair cut??  Well- I finally figured it out and took Bryson for a “re-do” first hair cut.  OK- so maybe it wasn’t really first…but it was way cooler.  At least they were well equipped for children.  This place had every bell and whistle known to man for your child’s entertainment.  It starts out by being imbedded in the back of a very funky fun toy store.  As if the toy store part wasn’t enough, they have these super cool salon chairs to the individual flat screen monitors with DVD players so your little one can watch whatever his little heart desires while getting his hair done.  And I thought getting a lollipop for a hair cut was good.  This place is really over the top! 

And speaking of being over the top…for those of you out there with little girls…WATCH OUT!  This is what you have to look forward to.

Can you believe this?  This is a real sign I found at the American Girl store at a mall in Atlanta.  You can actually pay (a decent amount of money) to take your child’s DOLL to the hair salon for an up-do, the style of the month or (gasp) to have her ears pierced.  Seriously.  Are we out of control or what???
