17 Months

Much to my amazement, Bryson is 17 months old today.  He is growing up so fast- I really feel like we are in warp speed.  He seems to have skipped the whole “walking phase” and jumped right to running.  At any given moment, he is running laps around the house pushing his shopping cart.  And despite have half of Toys-R-Us in his bedroom, his other favorite toy is my hairdryer.  He pulls it out each morning and runs around the house, dragging it behind him. 

Here are some of the other things he is up to these days

1.Favorite foods- mangos, pineapples, humus, milk, fruit bars

2. Favorite activity- bath time, throwing food at the dogs, chasing the dogs with his shopping cart, “playing basketball” with dad (Dave swears he can dribble, but I have not witness it)

3. Words- mama, dada, dog, hush dog, outside, ball, milk, socks, no no no, and some other random babblings that I cannot interpret

4. Teeth- 16 (8 on top and 8 on bottom)

5. Naps- still takes 2 good naps a day

6. Bedtime essentials- must have 2 books read to him, sleeps with his blue dog blanket/lovey and a binky

7. Newest fascination- blowing you a kiss bye bye
